When you initiate a deposit for payment from Paynote to your linked bank account, the estimated arrival date and time varies from different banking institutions. However, we review account and transaction activity at various times when you initiate deposits. This review checks for, among other things, suspicious or illegal activity, and whether your account activity complies with the SeamlessChex User Agreement.
Review may result in:
- delayed, blocked or canceled check deposits;
- funds being held by your bank; to include funds being seized to comply with a court order, warrant or other legal process; and/or funds you previously received being reversed (i.e., sent back to your clients bank balance or to the card or bank account that was used to fund the payment).
In connection with our review process, you may be required to provide us with additional information and/or documentation to verify your identity. We may limit your account and your access to funds in it until verification is completed.
To confirm deposits out of Paynote using your linked bank account, please make sure you check your bank account statement to see if it has been processed and deposited into your bank account. In some cases, your deposit request out of SeamlessChex may have posted on a date other than our estimated date, so be sure to check the surrounding dates as well.
